H&M has launched its first summer capsule made with regenerative cotton. It included six items: long dresses, long shirts and bralettes with flared skirts.
“Each garment is made from certified regenerative organic cotton,” says H&M. However, the brand does not reveal its percentage in each product. Certified organic regenerative cotton is grown without the use of pesticides or artificial fertilizers and does not contain genetically modified organisms. This type of agriculture focuses on keeping animals and farmers healthy, and regenerating the soil.
In May 2022, H&M Group joined the Regenerative Community, which represents a total of 140,000 Indian farmers.
