The Jazz Seasons Festival, which will take place on August 19 and 20 at the Gorki Leninskiye Museum-Reserve, announced the participants of the event. Two stages will work at the festival at once, where Larisa Dolina, Igor Butman and the Moscow Jazz Orchestra, the Oleg Akkuratov Trio will present their programs.
For the first time, Dmitry Malikov with the Pianomania Jazz project, Evgeny Margulis and his band, Varvara Ubel, Billy’s Band and many others will perform at Gorky. Foreign musicians will be special guests. In addition to the program presented, the Jazz Seasons will host master classes in playing musical instruments, painting, ceramics and blacksmithing, sports activities, a market and much more.
“The program of our festival is distinguished by a variety of styles. There is always music for every taste: complex and simple, lyrical and incendiary. For us it is very important that everyone finds something to their liking. Therefore, there will be interesting young musicians, jazz masters and popular artists from other genres who will present special programs”, said Igor Butman, artistic director of Jazz Seasons.
