“In the Krasnodar Territory, the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry aviation is extinguishing a fire. An Il-76 aircraft and two Ka-32 and Mi-8 helicopters with spillway devices are at the scene,” the message says.
It was previously reported that 19 water drops have been carried out by aircraft since the start of the firefighting operation. The fire covers an area of 62 hectares.
Let us recall that on Sunday afternoon, near the Durso estate, located a few kilometres from the popular village of Abrau-Durso, a relict forest caught fire.
