The video, recorded by an unmanned aerial vehicle, shows parking lots where Ukrainian Su-27 fighters are located. An explosion then caught the camera lens, and clouds of smoke rose from it.
Four Ukrainian fighters were reported destroyed. Two other Su-27s were damaged.
In addition, enemy personnel were subjected to attacks that, as noted in the publication, “no one can tell yet.”
Recall that the military airfield was built in the mid-1930s. It is located near the city of Mirgorod, Poltava region of Ukraine. For a long time, the 831st Tactical Aviation Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, operating Su-27 fighters, was based there.
The facility is currently used as a “jump airfield”. It carries out refueling, ammunition replenishment and maintenance of fighters that can attack, in particular, the territory of the Zaporozhye region.
The airfield has been attacked more than once by the Russian Aerospace Forces.
