According to the Ministry of Industry and Digital Development, more than 200 social institutions are also connected to the data network. These are rural administrations, all schools, technical schools and colleges, first aid posts, cultural institutions and libraries.
“Thanks to this, many services in the republic can now be obtained electronically and everyday problems can be solved more easily,” the ministry highlighted.
They clarified that in the region, 86 of the most popular social services have been converted to electronic format, which are provided through the Single Portal of Government Services. This was achieved thanks to the implementation in Ingushetia of the federal project “Information Infrastructure” of the national program “Digital Economy of the Russian Federation”, aimed at the digitalization of small settlements.
– Access to the Internet and obtaining various services through it is one of the key factors in the development of the republic as a whole. Particular attention is paid to creating infrastructure in rural areas where Internet access was previously limited, said the head of Ingushetia, Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov.
One of the steps towards the digitalization of the region was the creation of a digital development academy, in which up to 500 specialists in the field of information technologies, including software, will graduate annually.
In addition, the republic has adopted laws that stimulate the development of information technologies. In particular, a zero tax rate has been established on profits paid to the regional budget by organizations involved in software development. Rental benefits have been established for the placement of communications facilities, as well as for organizations operating in the telecommunications sector, including payment of taxes.
