The official himself decided to sign a contract for 65 million, increase the advance payment and also accepted the job. In this regard, the prosecutor’s office filed a claim with the city court to recover the full amount. The request was granted. This decision has not yet come into force.
In addition, the city’s mayor and his deputy were previously dismissed for loss of confidence.
The court is considering a case against the former deputy mayor of the city under paragraph “e” of Part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (exceeding official powers for selfish reasons).
