The department announced the results of an epidemiological investigation, it showed that all the sick, as well as three cafe employees, had a causative agent of salmonellosis. Also, the pathogen was found in the finished product. It is assumed that the transmission of a dangerous infection was carried out through shawarma and salads, this became possible due to a gross violation of sanitary regulations in the institution.
By the way, the Investigative Committee of the Chelyabinsk region is also conducting its own investigation. A criminal case has been initiated for the provision of services that do not meet security requirements.
