According to the department, on June 27 and 28, prosecutors registered a mass appeal from parents whose children were on vacation at the Belka health camp.
“At this time, more than 30 children have complained of discomfort and some of them have been isolated by camp medical staff,” reads a message posted on the department’s website.
The prosecutor’s office had previously inspected the camp and discovered numerous violations of sanitary and epidemiological legislation. Based on the results of the inspection, cases of administrative offences under Articles 6.6, 10.3, Part 1, 10.8, Part 1 of Article 14.43 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation were opened.
As a result, on June 23, with the arrival of the camp’s second shift, a new food provider began working. The prosecutor’s office is currently carrying out an investigation.
