According to the investigation, on New Year’s weekend this year, the 37-year-old defendant entered a hypermarket on Engels Avenue and changed the price of a cheap vacuum cleaner for a more expensive one.
To convince himself, the citizen looked towards the vegetable department of the trading floor, where he took bell peppers and went to the checkout. As a result, instead of 12 thousand rubles, the man paid 2 thousand for the dust collection unit, after which he calmly left the store.
The man is charged under section 1 of art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft), the criminal case was filed with the court of first instance of the district where the incident occurred.
