“The hurricane did not pass through the child health camps,” said the head of the Ministry of Youth. – “Today we have 111 camps operating in the republic, resting more than 18 thousand children. Including 15 tent camps. 26 camps have suffered the consequences of the disaster.”
According to Rinat Sadykov, the most striking example of the rampage of the elements was in the Pioneer camp in the Zelenodolsk region of the Republic of Tatarstan. There, the trees fell on the tents, but the children were transferred to the club in advance. Thanks to the actions of the staff, no one was injured.
Also, camps in the Pestrechinsky, Buinsky, Laishevsky, Vysokogorsky, Spassky districts of the republic and in Kazan were damaged by the hurricane. There was a collapse of trees, including buildings, fences, power lines were cut.
As the minister clarified on his Telegram channel, electricity appeared in the camps that were left without light at 9:30 p.m.
“Where branches and trees have fallen, since morning, large fallen vehicles have been cleaned up and liquidated. In all children’s health camps, the morning began according to the daily routine: exercises and breakfast, planned events are carried out out on the teams,” he wrote.
