According to the Far Eastern Transport Prosecutor’s Office, the design and surveying company launched a drone during geodetic activities in Birobidzhan. The company received permission from the mayor’s office to carry out aviation work, but did not notify the air traffic services authorities.
As a result, a report was submitted to the company director and the responsible employee received a disciplinary sanction.
The owner of the quadcopter was brought to administrative responsibility under Part 2 of Article 11.4 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (violation of the rules for the use of airspace). He was fined 25 thousand rubles.
