Rescuers of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Khabarovsk Territory are providing assistance to residents of the affected localities. In the village of Vidnoye, a boat crossing was organized and the road was flooded. Water entered the villages of Vidnoye, Kedrovo, Kukelevo and Zabaikalskoye in the Vyazemsky district and the village of Lonchakovo in the Bikinsky district.

A group of rescuers from a search and rescue team (consisting of 5 people with a boat and an unmanned aerial vehicle) headed to the village of Arsenyev, Nanai district. It is necessary to monitor the flood situation here: the water level is rising due to local rainfall.

According to hydrologists, the level of water near the village of Lonchakovo is expected to reach 500-550 centimetres in the next two days (the mark of a dangerous phenomenon is 500 centimetres); near the village of Sheremetyevo in the period from 2 to 5 July – 930-970 centimetres (the mark of a dangerous phenomenon is 950). Downstream of the Ussuri, in the section between the village of Venyukovo and the village of Novosovetskoye, there will be traces of an unfavourable phenomenon with a level above 0.7-1.0 metres. Household plots, sections of roads within villages, crops and communication lines are likely to be flooded.
