Last year, about 1.2 thousand men attended schools for future fathers operating in perinatal centers and other medical organizations in the Shchelkovo, Naro-Fominsk and Vidnovsky districts, the press service of the regional Ministry of Health reports. .
“In classes at these schools, future fathers are explained how to support their wives during pregnancy and maternity leave, and they are told about caring for the baby. I would like to note that this is now a trend among men: a conscious approach to raising children, and our schools are a great help in this,” – said Lyudmila Bolataeva, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region.
