“In adverse weather conditions, at a temperature of 37 degrees below zero, railway workers quickly restored one of the tracks,” reports the Russian Railways Telegram channel.
The first train was sent along the repaired track at 19:45 Moscow time. Work continues on the adjacent road.
The company’s press service noted that passenger trains delayed due to the emergency were returned to their routes. Measures are being taken to normalize traffic schedules.
