This year’s plans, within the framework of the national project “Safe and Quality Roads”, include the repair of more than fifty kilometres of roads, as well as eleven bridges and overpasses throughout the Kama region.
Perm Territory Governor Dmitry Makhonin noted that the national project allows for the comprehensive implementation of all work. At the same time, not only the road surface is being renovated, but also fences and pavilions for passengers are being built, ramps are being built and pavements are being laid. There are more traffic lights and equipment for photo and video recording.
The Ministry of Transport of the Kama region reported that thanks to the instructions of Dmitry Makhonin in the regional center, the repair plan for the current year was completed in 2023. And now there are plans to repair almost twenty streets in Perm.
In the Kama region there is very strict quality control of road works. Sampling is required, and if problems are detected, builders fix them on their own. In addition, samples are taken from several places at the same time. Acceptance of roads is carried out by a special commission, which includes employees of the Ministry of Transport, the highway administrator of the Perm Territory, employees of the state automobile inspection and social activists.
