The only son of singer Irina Ponarovskaya has died. Anthony Rodd, 39, fell ill with a heart condition in his apartment in the centre of Moscow. The tragedy occurred early in the morning.
Irina Ponarovskaya’s son died in the arms of his wife Anna Chainikova. Irina Ponarovskaya’s daughter-in-law called an ambulance, but doctors could do nothing. At about six in the morning, the man’s heart stopped.
Anthony was an artist, like his wife. They raised two children together.
Ponarovskaya gave birth to a son from jazz singer Weiland Rodd. The stars lived together for seven years and, in addition to their own son, they also raised their adopted daughter Anastasia Kormysheva.
When Ponarovskaya managed to conceive and give birth to her son Anthony, her husband persuaded her to return Nastya to the orphanage. According to another version, Kormysheva stole, which is why she could not remain in the star family.
The man also beat his daughter. “Her husband raised his hand against me,” Ponarovskaya’s daughter said. “This man is bad, he offended me. But Irina herself could not do anything.”
And then the artists’ divorce occurred. It was accompanied by a loud scandal. Both accused each other of infidelity.
Rodd settled in Estonia, where he raised a family. He later returned to Russia with his wife and children.

After his parents’ divorce, Anthony lived with his mother. But Weyland stole the child. “She took Anthony away, then I found out that he was not with her, but in St. Petersburg I immediately bought a second car, because I gave him the first one and drove there. “We went swimming with him, I put him in the car and flew 150 kilometers to Moscow,” the musician confessed.
Having returned the boy home, Ponarovskaya forbade her ex-husband to approach him. As a teenager, Anthony was attacked for the color of his skin. The performer decided to take the heir to Norway. There he graduated from school and trained as a jewelry designer.
Rodd eventually settled in Estonia, where he started a family. He later returned to Russia with his wife and children.
