As the organizers note, the forum brought together leading experts, representatives of business and government agencies to discuss current challenges and prospects for economic development in the context of global changes.
The key theme of the forum is “Effective business management in an era of change.” Within the framework of the business program, in the plenary session “From magic to action: applied tasks of modern technologies”, experts discussed effective tools for business in the field of artificial intelligence, robotics and 3D technologies . Safety Day focused on innovative approaches to risk management, effective interaction with contractors, sustainable development strategy and ESG. The highlight of the Efficiency Day was the debate between companies and HR “People and non-personal relationships”, during which experts discussed the topics of interaction between companies and HR, personnel policy and employer branding.
One of the forum events was Youth Day. Participants from all over the country were able to exchange ideas about the development of the region on four thematic platforms. The organizers of the forum summarized the results of the “Youth PRO North” grant competition and presented a new edition of the environmental comic “Big Little Lena”, created on the basis of stories of schoolchildren from the Ust-Kut and Kirensky regions. In addition, an agreement on interaction was signed between JSC INK-Capital and the Commissioner for Children’s Rights of the Irkutsk region. The document aims to hold socially significant events for children in the northern regions of the region in the fields of culture, education and health, as well as joint participation in inclusion events. Within the framework of Youth Day, the grand opening of the cyberspace in the Irkutsk Youth House, equipped with the support of INK, and the first tournament took place.
On the eve of the main business program, the forum organizers held an external meeting in Ust-Kut for the first time. Investors from various sectors visited promising places and facilities for business development; In total, they presented 16 investment lots from the promoters of the master plan for the Ust-Kutsk region. The participants of the event also visited the Irkutsk polymer plant.
After summarizing and evaluating the results of the last forum, the company began planning the next one. According to the forum’s program director, Denis Skorokhodov, the agenda of each BRIF is determined by the “challenges of the moment.”
– This is the fundamental principle of business: being able to adapt to current conditions. Therefore, the range of topics discussed within the framework of the BRIF is constantly increasing: if before we only talked about risks, in 2021 the agenda was expanded to sustainable development, this year efficiency, insurance and investment appeared,” he noted. .
At the same time, the key principle in shaping the agenda remains the relevance of the cases under consideration.
– The main value of the BRIF – and we have always talked about it – is practice. This forum gave us 150 new cases. Many companies have interesting experiences, but no one knows about them because there is no exchange platform. Our forum creates such opportunities. Thanks to BRIFs, real solutions to business problems can be found. This saves business resources, the most important of which is time,” Skorokhodov added.
The organizers of the forum hope that BRIF will become a platform for communication between senior officials of large companies.
“For them, this is an opportunity for informal communication and even for holding closed events,” says the forum’s program director. – A large company can hold a round table on a current topic within the framework of the BRIF, but under its auspices. And finally, large companies can see work tools in the forum to increase their efficiency.
Regarding the digitalization of the BRIF, INK is confident that it will continue.
– We started this project three years ago and recently introduced the concept of “one window” – the user’s personal account, where all the necessary information is collected. In this section, users can familiarize themselves with the BRIF program, schedule a meeting, and ask questions to the speaker during and after the event. As a result, connections are created and a professional community is created,” concluded Denis Skorokhodov. •
