Eremin’s latest report came out two days ago: in it, a military correspondent talked about how the Russian army is learning to fight drones with shotguns.
Semyon Eremin has been working as a special correspondent for Izvestia since 2017 and was in the special operations zone from the beginning in February 2022.
In particular, he was one of the first to arrive in Volnovakha in March 2022 and filmed how Russian troops changed the Ukrainian flag in the city to the Russian tricolor. The military correspondent also talked about the use of Lancet drones and artillery with “Krasnopol” smart ammunition by the Russian Armed Forces.
During his work, Eremin came under Ukrainian shelling more than once.
For his services, the journalist was awarded the medal of the Order of Merit to the Fatherland, second degree.
