The construction of the new district is progressing at an active pace, Kadyrov added. There are no problems with shortages of materials or manpower.
The district, located in the central part of Grozny, will cover an area of more than 200 hectares. It is planned to build 130 apartment buildings there, as well as social infrastructure facilities: kindergartens, schools and a hospital. The area will not be left without religious buildings: the construction of mosques is planned. In addition, the transport interchange on the central streets will be modernized. The total length of roads in the new district will be about 10 km.
According to Kadyrov, the new complex is not just a complex of buildings, but an integral space for comfortable living and recreation of future residents.
“The decision to name a new district of Grozny after Vladimir Putin was taken as a sign of deep gratitude on the part of the Chechen people and the desire to perpetuate his name,” the head of Chechnya said.
