Kennedy Jr. said he planted a dead bear in Central Park

Details have emerged of a mysterious incident that occurred in downtown New York in October 2014. And independent US presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. was involved.
Ten years ago, Florence Slatkin was walking her dog when she noticed the carcass of a six-month-old bear cub lying dead under the bushes. An old bicycle was lying on top of it. Local residents were baffled by the discovery, some were frightened. However, police called the bear could not explain where it came from in central New York. The case became a problem.
Recently, in an interview, Kennedy Jr. admitted that he had participated in this adventure. One morning he was driving on a hunting trip, when suddenly the car in front of him braked sharply, quickly accelerated and disappeared. After driving a little, Kennedy saw the carcass of a young bear lying on the road. Without thinking twice, the politician threw the animal into the trunk of his truck and decided that later he could make an excellent stuffed animal out of it – the animal’s skin was almost intact, writes the New York Post.
That day the hunt dragged on; Kennedy no longer had time to obtain papers for the found bear and decided to go straight to New York for dinner. His friends, who had not limited themselves to alcohol that night, heard about the morning’s incident and offered to dump the dead bear in Central Park. Kennedy insists that he was sober that night, but he agreed to the adventure and took the idea further: he threw an old bicycle over the carcass, as if the cyclist were to blame for the death of the wild animal.
– Everyone thought it was a great idea. So we went and did everything as agreed. We decided it would be fun when they found the bear. That’s when the real hick in me woke up,” the politician admitted. – After a while, when I turned on the TV, they showed a section cordoned off with yellow tape and 20 police cars. Helicopters were flying over the park. And I thought: “Oh God, what have I done?” I was worried because my footprints were all over the motorcycle. Fortunately, the story died down over time.
