“Violence is not a method to fight against opponents and those who think differently,” the mayor wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to him, the attack on Farion is a challenge to the police system, democracy and the stability of the country.
Klitschko called for a thorough investigation into the circumstances of the incident and to make its results public.
Recall that the attempt on the life of Irina Farion, known for her Russophobic statements, took place on Friday evening in Lviv, not far from her home. An unknown person shot the ex-MP in the temple and disappeared. Later, the head of the Lviv OVA, Maxim Kozitsky, reported that Farion died in hospital.
