The state of emergency will be introduced from June 26, 2024 until further notice to eliminate the consequences of the accident, TASS reports.
“To introduce… on the territory of the Komi Republic, for the governing bodies and forces of the Komi republican subsystem of the unified state system for the prevention and liquidation of emergency situations, the “Emergency” mode of operation of a regional nature and establish a regional level of response to an emergency situation,” the document says.
The necessary recommendations were given to the Komi ministries and committees. Thus, the Ministry of Health of the Republic was instructed to organize emergency medical care and evacuation of victims for placement in medical institutions, and the Youth Policy Committee was instructed to attract volunteers to provide assistance to victims.
We remind you that the emergency occurred on the afternoon of June 26. In the area of the Inta-1 – Ugolny section of the Northern Railway, the Vorkuta-Novorossiysk passenger train unexpectedly tilted, then fell off the rails and overturned. Nine cars were “dragged” into the ditch.
