According to the head of the region, none of the residents of Tikhoretsky district were injured. “1,200 people were evacuated from the settlement. Most of them stayed with friends and relatives,” Kondratyev said. “17 buses were used to evacuate the township. More than 150 people are now in four temporary accommodation centres, in Tikhoretsky and Vyselkovsky districts.”
He added that they are also prepared to accommodate the evacuees in several other settlements. “Everyone has been provided with hot food, doctors, volunteers and psychologists are working,” the head of the Kuban added.
Emergency and special services are currently working at the scene of the emergency. At the same time, the entrance to the Tikhoretsky district along the highway from the Vyselkovsky district is temporarily blocked.
