The resulting bright and colourful performance, which was held under the motto “Starting the Season”, was attended by fans of the “black and green” as well as journalists from federal and regional media.
The show began with the presentation of silver medals from last season’s Russian Premier League to the players, coaches and club staff. The ceremony was conducted by the general director of FC Krasnodar, Vladimir Khashig.
At the same time, it was stated that prizes will also be awarded to players who for various reasons were unable to attend. Some (such as goalkeeper Matvey Safonov, who moved to French PSG, Sergei Volkov, now representing Zenit St. Petersburg, Julio Alonso of Brazilian Atlético Mineiro and Kadi of Hungarian Ferecvaros) are no longer in the team, while others (Colombians John Córdoba and Kevin Castaño, as well as Uruguayan Lucas Olasa) are participating with their national teams in the 2024 Copa América in the United States.
Then came the presentation of new sets (the presenter called it “unpacking the uniform”). Both Bulls footballers and professional models participated in it.
“The home jersey is all about tradition and strict form, but at the same time with a bold inverted emblem located in the center of the composition,” the team’s press service commented on what is happening. “The print of the away jersey is. It is distinguished by its resemblance to travertine, which is intended to remind players and fans of their hometown even in an away match. The game uniform was developed by the club’s design team and produced under its own brand.”
Fans also got to know three newcomers to the Bulls (former Dynamo striker Fedor Smolov, former Kazan “Rubin” goalkeeper Yuri Dyupin and young and talented midfielder Danilo Kozlov, acquired from Kaliningrad).
Afterwards, all the players and coaches were invited back on stage, and Krasnodar coach Murad Musaev thanked all the fans and admitted that they provide them with “fantastic support”.
Well, the most emotional thing, perhaps, was the presentation of the new captain (the first was Matvey Safonov) of the team, Eduard Spertsyan.

This is clearly due to the fact that the best midfielder of the RPL last season was sent, according to rumors, to several foreign clubs. Representatives of the “bulls” did not comment on such rumors. Therefore, the future of the graduate of the club’s youth academy remained a mystery. And now the fans interpreted the fact that Eduard received the honorary captain’s armband as a sign that one of the team’s leaders remains in the team.
“Know that we play for you and do our best on the field,” said Spertsyan, clearly embarrassed by the powerful ovation in his honour from the crowd.

Krasnodar will start its new season on Saturday, July 13. In Volgograd, the “bulls” will play the match for the Russian Football Super Cup against the national champion Zenit St. Petersburg. The match at the Volgograd Arena will start at 20:30. The Kuban team will compete for the prestigious trophy for the first time in its history. But for four years now, the St. Petersburg club has been the owner of it.
