The cost of the invasion exceeds 5.8 thousand dead

More than 300 servicemen were responsible for the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Kursk in the past 24 hours. These data are provided by the Russian military department. In addition, as a result of the actions of the Russian units, the Ukrainian army lost 14 units of armored vehicles, including one tank, one infantry fighting vehicle, one armored personnel carrier, 11 armored combat vehicles, 7 vehicles, one artillery piece, one engineering equipment, two electronic warfare stations and one ST-68 air target detection radar.

“In total, during the fighting in the Kursk direction,” the Ministry of Defense reports, “the enemy lost more than 5,800 servicemen, 72 tanks, 31 infantry fighting vehicles, 58 armored personnel carriers, 383 armored combat vehicles, 177 vehicles, 37 artillery pieces, five anti-aircraft missile systems, 11 multiple launch rocket system launchers. The prisoners are glad to be alive.

Soldiers of the Akhmat special forces detachment, together with servicemen of the Southern Military District, took control of a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. “As a result of effective actions, another enemy stronghold was captured. The enemy’s troops have been destroyed,” Chechnya’s head Ramzan Kadyrov wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to him, Russian soldiers captured two Ukrainian militants.

“The prisoners are glad that they have not suffered the same fate as their predecessors, with whom our boys do not stand on ceremony on the battlefield,” the head of Chechnya wrote.

We hit the rear of the invading group.

Russian aviation destroys the rear of the group that entered the Kursk region. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, operational-tactical aviation carried out strikes in the Sumy region in areas where personnel and military equipment were concentrated in the reserves of the 22nd, 41st, 54th, 61st and 115th mechanized, 80th and 82nd 1st Airborne Assault, 92nd Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 1st Brigade of the National Guard, as well as the 101st and 103rd Defense Brigades in the areas of Belopole, Belovody, Vorozhba, Druzhba, Katerynivka, Obody, Pervomaiskoe, Pershetravnevoe, Peremoga, Svessa, Sumy. , Ugroedy, Yunakovka and Yastrebinoye.

However, both artillery and missile forces are attacking the infrastructure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Sumy region. And these strikes are bearing fruit. As Sergei Lebedev, coordinator of the pro-Russian Nikolaev resistance, told RIA Novosti, a warehouse with missile weapons was attacked in Sumy.

“The most powerful double landing occurred in the area of the Lineinaya industrial zone,” Lebedev said. – We arrived at a warehouse with newly delivered missiles, including for air defence.

A missile and an aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed in the sky over the Kursk region. This was announced by the acting governor of the region, Alexey Smirnov, on his Telegram channel. “A Ukrainian missile and an aircraft-type UAV were destroyed in the sky over the Kursk region. Thanks to the air defense fighters and border defenders,” he wrote.

The “towers” worked on objectives

Meanwhile, crews of Su-25 “Rooks” are attacking the enemy on Russian territory. “The crews of Su-25 attack aircraft launched an air strike against a concentration of manpower, armored and automotive military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the border region of the Kursk region,” the Russian Defense Ministry said in a report. –

The attack was carried out with air missiles against reconnaissance targets. After using the air weapons, the crews performed an anti-missile maneuver, released the thermal traps and returned to the departure airfield. According to intelligence reports, all these targets were destroyed.

Reinforced with missiles and artillery weapons.

At the request of the regional operations headquarters, additional artillery and missile weapons have been delivered to the Kursk region, the Russian Defence Ministry said.

“The Coordination Council for Military Security of Border Territories received 29 requests from the operational headquarters of the Kursk region,” the military department reported, “17 issues have been resolved, the rest are in the process of supplying the group with additional artillery and missile weapons.”

As the department clarified, applications are accepted around the clock. The task force works on them within 24 hours. If a solution is not possible, an urgent report is submitted to the Minister of Defence.

Humanitarian aid arrives in tons every day to the Kursk region

The Russian Emergency Situations Ministry continues to evacuate civilians from dangerous areas in the Kursk region.

“Over the past 24 hours, more than 340 people have left for safe areas independently and in organized columns,” the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry said. – Evacuation measures for border residents have been carried out in five municipal districts of the region.

As rescuers have noted, 197 temporary accommodation centres are operating in 28 regions of the country. More than 11.5 thousand people are still detained there, including more than 3.5 thousand children. More than 7 thousand people are in temporary detention centres in the Kursk region. More than 100 tons of humanitarian aid are delivered to the region every day; in total, more than 3 thousand tons of humanitarian aid arrived in the Kursk region during the emergency situation.

Intelligence was provided, but not for the invasion.

In the first days of the invasion of the Kursk region by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the United States and Great Britain provided strong support to Ukraine. In particular, they provided intelligence information to the Ukrainian army. I will probably offer it now, but for some reason the American edition of the New York Times (NYT) only writes about the first days.

Be that as it may, two American officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, told the newspaper that by using satellite data, Washington and London attempted to protect Ukrainian forces. They argue that American and British leaders failed to provide information to Ukraine to help it advance deeper into Russia. Intelligence was passed on to the Ukrainian Armed Forces to enable their commanders to better track the movements of the Russian military, which could attack them or cut them off from a possible retreat back into Ukraine.

Why did American officials suddenly start disclosing such information? It seems that they are making excuses. Yes, they say, we helped, but we did not want an invasion. It turned out to be somewhat crumpled. Moreover, everyone already knew that the West was transferring intelligence data to Ukraine.
