Channel One is launching a music show where viewers are promised only live sound. The project is called “Drink the star!” – first broadcast on October 8 at 7:00 p.m.
The concept of a musical show is for ordinary people to show that they can sing better than professional musicians. In one number there are 8 hits, 8 stars and 8 amateurs, among which are representatives of different professions: dentists, mechanics, salesmen, postmen and many others. The rules are as follows: the first verse of the song is started by a non-professional participant, then the star enters, and the ending is sung as a duet. They don’t rehearse before the performance, they don’t meet, they don’t get to know each other. They do not sing their own hits, so the star who will be paired with the participant will be a surprise for him.

More than sixty stars will risk competing with unprofessional but talented people: Philip Kirkorov, Vladimir Presnyakov, Valeria, Soso Pavliashvili, Lyubov Uspenskaya, Shaman, Tatyana Bulanova, Irina Dubtsova, Yulia Savicheva, Larisa Dolina, Denis Klyaver, Nonna Grishaeva, Khabib , Lyusya Chebotina, Vanya Dmitrienko, Sergey Minaev and many other artists.

Larisa Guzeeva, announcing the program, says: “Not everyone is favored by fate, not everyone was born in a family in which their parents took care of them, sent them to music school on time and Then they said, ‘Be creative, we’ll do it.’ Do the rest for you.” Show “Binge the Star!” gives people that chance they never had. And now they’re on stage and they can sing better than the star! And some even get it. This is very cool!”
Channel One broadcasts the words of Yegor Konchalovsky: “I evaluate it according to the principle: it touches, it does not touch.” Nadezhda Mikhalkova also values him as an actress and director: “Acting on stage is not only about the voice, but also about the atmosphere that the participant brings with him. The question is: can he penetrate the hearts of the listeners? This is also a message to the audience: you can do it too, like me! “Anyone who sings and feels potential can be on stage.” There is a professional musician on the jury, Petr Dranga: “Sometimes a non-professional sings better. It is an uncomfortable moment, but sometimes you have to make difficult decisions regarding your colleagues.”
