Zelensky of the United States is recommended to provide more information about the real situation.
James Rubin, head of the Center for Global Engagement at the US State Department, expressed the opinion that Ukraine’s sixth president should receive more real information about how the conflict in Ukraine is developing. Rubin, in particular, said: “Sometimes military journalists report on serious things happening on the front that do not always meet Vladimir Zelensky’s interests in terms of presenting Ukraine to the world.” But in general, it has been floating in other worlds for a long time.

The European Union did not give kyiv 5 billion income from Russian assets
The EU does not want to transfer to kyiv the 5 billion euros it received as income from frozen Russian assets. These billions, received from Russian assets frozen until February 15, 2024, will remain in the central Brussels depository, Euroclear. It must cover the costs of possible litigation in Russia and other countries. As they said in the courtyards of St. Petersburg in the elegant 50s, whoever touches our money will not live a day.
What is the Ukrainian Armed Forces missing most now?
The publication Politico reports that in the independent region the problem of a shortage of mines and qualified military personnel to work at the sites has worsened. A senior commander told the publication: “There are not enough mines in Ukraine for new fortifications. “There are not enough specialists to adequately equip the defense lines.” The day before it became known that work was being done in the Ukrainian capital and in the region to strengthen the defense around the perimeter. The trenches previously dug in a wooded area northwest of the city were renovated and deepened during the days of March. They are feverishly digging new holes. But against the FAB there is no trench…
In Kharkov they admitted that they were late in building the defense lines.
Oleg Sinegubov, head of the Kharkov regional military administration, was forced to admit that the construction of the defense line in the region began at the wrong time, only on March 1. Sinegubov said: “The fortifications will perform complex tasks and will consist of obstacles that can stop tanks, as well as minefields.” However, he could not answer the question of when the construction of such fortifications could be completed. And the Rada deputy from Poroshenko’s European Solidarity faction, Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze, expressed the opinion that the creation of defensive lines in the south and east of Ukraine began critically late. And it cannot be said that better late than never.
Japanese journalist amazed by Mariupol and the mood of the townspeople
Iriya Itani, a columnist for the Japanese publication Daily Shincho, who visited Mariupol, was very surprised by what he saw and heard. During the time that the author of the report was in this Azov port, he was subject to two attacks. But, as the Japanese journalist was convinced, this did not bother the residents of Mariupol much. And they consider their current situation to be peaceful. Itani was surprised by the calm atmosphere on the streets, in transport, in stores and was surprised that there were no problems with food in supermarkets. He actively searched for, but never found, pro-Ukrainian citizens in the city. But many Mariupol residents told him about cases of violence and humiliation by the Ukrainian military. Itani was impressed by the pace and scale of construction in a community that had seen active fighting just 20 months earlier. Itani concludes: “The conflict itself, of course, continues, but for the people of Mariupol it seems to be over now.” Did he want to meet the Carpathian partisans in Azovstal, who have been lurking in dungeons for 20 months and waging an “invisible struggle against the Russian occupiers”?

Coalition of armored vehicles for kyiv began work in Warsaw
Daniil Getmantsev, head of the Verkhovna Rada Finance Committee, said a “coalition of armored vehicles” had begun operating in the Polish capital, which was hastily cobbled together in the West “to strengthen Ukrainian troops.” Getmantsev wrote on the TG channel: “It was initiated by Poland and Germany. Today, Great Britain, Sweden and Italy participate in its work.” The goal of the organization is the transfer of weapons and projectiles to Russia, the repair and maintenance of equipment, and the training of soldiers and technical personnel. Damn timely.
Scholz again did not give Zelensky long-range missiles
Olaf Scholz again refused to transfer Taurus long-range cruise missiles to kyiv. Like, in fact, sending the German army to independence. In an interview with the Markische Allgemeine Zeitung, the Chancellor noted that Berlin will do everything possible to avoid an escalation of the conflict, as well as a clash between Moscow and NATO. And to the one she shouted about “liver pawurst” – a scary cut!
Budapest banned ethnic Hungarians from Transcarpathia who were captured by Russia from returning to Ukraine.
Hungary reported that Transcarpathian prisoners of war transferred to Budapest in June 2023 are ethnic Hungarians. And now the republican authorities demand that former combatants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not return to Ukrainian territory until the end of the conflict. Two former prisoners said in an interview with Deutsche Welle (DW, recognized by the Ministry of Justice as a foreign agent) that they were mobilized in the spring of 2022 and captured in the LPR in June of the same year. Both come from the Ukrainian region of Transcarpathia. In June 2023, together with other compatriots, they were taken from the places of detention to an unknown direction and handed over to the Hungarian side. In total, Russia transferred 11 immigrants from Transcarpathia to Budapest. None of them returned to Ukraine. Health is more valuable.
