A criminal case is being investigated against the Novosibirsk resident under Article 206 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (taking or holding two or more persons hostage), TASS reports.
Recall that on September 10, the police received a report about a hostage-taking in an apartment on Zhukovsky Street in Novosibirsk. A drunk man held a woman and her three children, threatened to use weapons and demanded that government officials give him three million rubles. Security forces detained the attacker, and the woman and children were released.
