The investment director of ATL Capital, Ignacio Cantos, has commented to EFE that next Wednesday the advanced data of the manufacturing PMI and the tertiary sector in the United States, Japan, Germany, France, the Euro Zone or the United Kingdom will be published.
Annual meeting of the major central banks
Next week also highlighted the annual meeting of the presidents of the central banks of the large economies in Jackson Hole (Wyoming), which will begin on Friday, the day on which the president of the Federal Reserve (US central bank), Jerome Powell.
Both on that day and on the following days, the European and US monetary authorities could give “clues” about the decisions they could take at their monetary policy meetings in September, which could be relevant for the stock markets and the dollar, according to Cantos.

Next week investors will also be watching interest rate decisions that the Bank of China may take on Monday, especially given the problems in the economy’s real estate market.
