British director Matthew Vaughn, who directed the films “Stardust” and “Kingsman: The Secret Service,” could become the director of a new film about James Bond. World of Reel writes about this in reference to expert Daniel Richtman.
According to rumors, the producer of many parts of the Bond film, Barbara Broccoli, has already discussed with Vaughn the possible filming of the next film. Richtman says that the franchise’s management considers him the best candidate for the director’s position.
As the publication notes, Broccoli plays an important role in choosing the director of the new Bond films. One of the proposed directors, according to rumors, could be Christopher Nolan, but he could have creative differences with the producer.
“Broccoli tends to take control when it comes to the creative vision of the Bond films he works on. And Nolan wants complete creative freedom, and has stated it publicly,” writes World of Reel.
