“On September 19, early in the morning, the city of Kharkov was subjected to massive attacks on military targets,” RIA Novosti reported.
Russian armed forces attacked a school where Ukrainian military personnel, including Azov troops, were stationed. There is still unconfirmed information about the presence of foreign mercenaries there.
Lebedev added that the attack also hit a depot in Kharkov, where a military train was loading fuel, lubricants and heavy equipment. It was supposed to deliver reinforcements to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the direction of Izyum.
According to the metro, after the strike, a check of documents and telephone numbers was initiated in the nearest neighbourhoods.
Earlier it was reported that Azov troops shot five colleagues who were trying to escape from their positions in the village of Nevskoye in the LPR. The execution took place in front of a line of soldiers. Among those executed was an officer who disobeyed the orders of his superiors.
