The series “White Lotus” is one of the main successes of the American television network HBO in recent years. Let us remember that in the first two seasons the action took place in two luxury hotels called “White Lotus”: in Hawaii and Sicily. Guests arrived with very difficult characters and tragicomic relationships began between them. The first season of White Lotus won numerous awards, including several Emmys, and the second just won a Golden Globe.
They are now preparing to film the third season, which will take place in Thailand. All plot details are being kept strictly under wraps. We only know that filming will take place in February in Bangkok and Koh Samui. And the names of the actors who will play the main roles in the new “White Lotus” have just been announced.
These are Leslie Bibb, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey and also, unexpectedly, Milos Bikovich, a Serbian actor with Russian citizenship. And the Russian audience is well known for at least two parts of the comedy “Slave”, which are among the highest-grossing films in the history of our distribution (the first film collected three billion rubles at once, the second It premiered on January 1, 2024 and in 12 days it already managed to raise 2,875 million). In addition, Bikovich starred in such hits as “Challenge”, “Ice”, “Balkan Frontier” and the television series “Hotel Eleon” and “Magomayev”. But overall, Nikita Mikhalkov discovered Bikovich for the Russian public; Ten years ago he gave him an important role in the movie “Sunstroke.”
Variety, which reported on Bikovich’s confirmation for the role in “White Lotus,” reports that the actor is represented in the English-speaking world by agencies Artist International Group and SV Casting. And among his main achievements in cinema he mentions roles in the Serbian thriller “South Wind” (2018) and, as they say, in the film “Serf”, that is, the same “Slave”.
