The series “First Issue” (KION), created by writer and journalist Sergei Minaev, was presented at the online film festival “New Season”. The project, directed by Klim Kozinsky, tells the story of the once popular writer Konstantin Inozemtsev, who is given the opportunity by fate to restart his career and run a fading fashion magazine. Evgeny Tsyganov very organically fits into the role of Inozemtsev, who in real life, as is known, to put it mildly, does not like journalists.
Actors and participants in the filming process gathered in the space near the Rosa Hall. Evgeny Tsyganov, who yesterday accompanied his wife Yulia Snigir, who presented Tango in Fragments, today presented his project. As is tradition, Evgeniy posed for the cameras with his wife. Perhaps Tsyganov and Snigir can be considered the most stylish couple of the festival. For the event, 45-year-old Evgeniy chose a fashionable polo shirt in a trendy marsh shade, and 41-year-old Yulia wore a spectacular red suit.

After some time, Nadezhda Mikhalkova appeared, who played the role of Inozemtsev’s ex-girlfriend Masha in the series “First Number”. The actress put together an outfit with a white vest and black trousers.

Ravshana Kurkova (the role of Inozemtsev’s friend’s wife) demonstrated a spectacular blue velvet dress. The cast is indeed very stellar, but not everyone was able to come. We will also see Igor Vernik, Pavel Derevianko, Ida Galich and many others in the series.

Before the screening of “The First Number” we were able to ask Sergei Minaev, who came up with this project, a few questions.
Sergey, how did the idea for the series come about? And how long ago was that?
This was three years ago. I came up with a series about a guy who doesn’t understand anything about gloss and comes to edit a glossy magazine. Well, that is, literally for me (Minaev is the current editor-in-chief of the magazine “Rules of Life” – editor’s note). And then a tragic event happened. My friend Edik Bagirov (writer and screenwriter) died and we took part of his life and inserted it into this series. In my own adaptation, if you allow. Then it happened that Dima Minaev, my author, also got involved in the project. Then producer Danila Sharapov invited Klim Kozinsky. And Zhenya Tsyganov appeared, who collected this whole story, strung it on himself and turned out to be a cunning guy. I consider this to be my most personal precision work. Now you will see everything.

– What traits do you personally share with the hero Tsyganov?
– Well, probably some carelessness. What an easy attitude towards oneself. Self-irony, cynicism, perhaps. Well, and probably romance too.
– What kind of person do you have to be to manage a fashion magazine?
– Yes, anyone. Almost anyone.
