On-duty air defense systems detected and destroyed two drones flying over the territories of the Bryansk and Kursk regions, the department noted.
It was previously reported that Russia successfully tested a laser gun designed to destroy drones. During tests, the device physically destroyed the drones, burning up the vehicles’ airfoils or burning their bodies along with on-board equipment. According to the developers, the weapon can destroy both aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles (quadrocopters).
