The parking session in the places marked with blue ticks must be started as usual, within two hours after the money is not debited from the car owner’s account. But then the cost of parking in this place will be 1000 rubles per hour. “Today, in the paid parking area, located near hospitals and clinics, free places are specially allocated for patients. However, they often turn out to be occupied by cars of employees of neighboring offices,” Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development, explains the need for innovation. According to her, the proposal to revise the parking regime in front of the clinics came from the Muscovites themselves.
The authorities have calculated: today, on average, patients spend about half an hour in the clinic, so the promised two free hours should be more than enough. What’s more, defending two hours, lowering a parking meter and using the special rate again, occupying the same parking space, will not work. Reactivation of free mode is possible no earlier than 30 minutes after the end of the previous session.
