The Moscow School of Contemporary Art (MSCA) and the Ruarts Gallery will open the group exhibition “Connection Broken. Restore” is an interdisciplinary project of graduates: artists, curators, art managers.
The works of 27 authors will reflect the search for ways to cope with traumatic life events and acquire the ability to move forward with confidence. The exhibition will feature installations, objects, video art, sculptures and paintings.
The project will be located on two floors of the gallery and will be divided into five semantic sections: “Turbulence and uncertainty”, “Searching for and accepting the Self”, “Attention to the body. Grounding”, “Connection with the world around you” and “Connection with others”. All the blocks will be united by the main idea of getting to know one’s own personality and exploring the world around you through body practices and strengthening social contacts.
We would like to remind you that on June 27, the first physical art gallery in Russia, VS Gallery, opened a personal exhibition of one of the gallery’s leading resident artists, Julia Nizamutdinova (Julia Cyberflora).
