The excavator Nikita Dubas, 31, and the general director of the Sputnik excursion company, Alexander Kim, 35, were questioned. None of them pleaded guilty. However, they are the main defendants in the criminal case for the death of the excursion group in Neglinka.
Both were charged under part 3 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements, resulting in the death of people.” In the near future they will be taken to court for a preventive measure. The investigation insists on the arrest.
Let us remember that during a downpour in the underground river Neglinka, in the center of Moscow, an excursion group of seven people and the guide who accompanied them died.
