The center is equipped with MRI machines, CT scan, ultrasound and a 24-hour patient monitoring system. Important medical equipment will continue to be acquired, as well as means for the rehabilitation of patients. And most importantly: highly qualified specialists work here who have received training in leading clinics in Moscow and internships in a similar center in Voronezh.

At the Melitopol Regional Hospital, a major renovation of the four-story therapeutic building with 90 beds has been completed. Now there is a modern hemodialysis department with 15 beds. Currently, a total of 54 patients are under active treatment.
Hemodialysis machines, or artificial kidneys, are extremely expensive equipment. It is necessary to cleanse a vital organ of toxins. With the launch of the new department, the treatment became effective and even comfortable. This was made possible thanks to the support of the government and the Ministry of Health of the Zaporozhye region.
Similar units exist in four cities: Melitopol, Berdyansk, Tokmak and Energodar. Previously, patients were treated with outdated devices that were more than ten years old. They were in poor technical condition,” said the Minister of Health of the Zaporozhye region, Boris Alexandrov.
