Director Nicolas Winding Refn, best known for Drive and Neon Demon, has been working on the animated series for a year. The filmmaker spoke about this in an interview with IndieWire.
“I’m doing an animation show that I really enjoy. I was so tired that I forgot to tell it,” said the director.
Refn did not reveal the plot details and spoke about the approximate release date. It is also unknown who works with the director. The director also commented on the news about his work on the film adaptation of the famous series of five novels, which appeared at the end of June.
“I am not in production. I don’t direct. I’m just creating my own version of the Fab Five,” she said.
A series of novels follows young explorers Julian, Dick, Ann, George, and their dog Timmy. In the story, they face amazing secret and unprecedented dangers.
