It seems that the lawsuit between Kirkorov and Uspenskaya has moved forward. Today, journalist Alena Zhigalova publicly apologized to Philip Kirkorov, on whose channel, in fact, the singer’s scandalous interview was published.
Kirkorov accepted Zhigalova’s apology and, according to the artist’s lawyer, Alexander Dobrovinsky, Philip has withdrawn the lawsuit against the journalist.
Let us remind: a scandal broke out between the artists after an interview with Uspenskaya on the program “Alena, Damn”, where suddenly, in a conversation with journalist Alena Zhigalova, the singer called her long-time friend Philip Kirkorov “a misogynist”.
The artist, seeing this interview, was furious and said: How is it possible that I have been singing about love for the fair sex for more than 30 years, that I have been friends with Uspenskaya for so many years, that I have been pampering my friend with exclusive gifts all these years, and suddenly this “knife in the back” appears?
Philip sued Uspenskaya, demanding moral compensation of 10,000,000 rubles from his colleague. The co-defendant in this lawsuit was journalist Alena Zhigalova, with whom the King of Pop made peace today, accepting her apologies. Today the lawyers of the parties met again in court.
– Uspenskaya’s representative refuses to sign a settlement agreement on the same terms as Zhigalova. At the same time, Alena Zhigalova, according to her representative, does not want to be held responsible for Uspenskaya’s words and actions, lawyer Alexander Dobrovinsky told KP.RU.
As Dobrovinsky told us from the courtroom, the amount that Kirkorova is demanding from Uspenskaya has now been reduced to 5 million rubles.
– Philip Kirkorov’s claims in the lawsuit are proportionally reduced, as there is no longer a second defendant in the lawsuit – Alena Zhigalova. Thus, the amount of compensation for Lyuba Uspenskaya is 5 million rubles. Philip intends to donate all the money to charity, said lawyer Alexander Dobrovinsky.
