According to the latest information, 11 buildings in the Romántico recreation center were damaged by the fire.
Dry vegetation also caught fire at two other recreational centres near Durso.
“The total area of the forest fire now amounts to 62 hectares. One person was injured and refused to be hospitalized,” the regional emergency service reported.
Residents of Durso are also informed of a possible evacuation: there is still a risk that the fire could spread to the estate.
Russia’s Emergency Situations Ministry has sent 50 additional people to extinguish the fire near Novorossiysk.
