Some managed to do so before the start of the faction meeting, which was held at 8:30. I cannot help but note that the Chairman of the State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, gathered such a small circle of people, leaders of factions, to congratulate Gennady Andreevich on his birthday. And, of course, the meeting in the State Duma was, one might say, full. And, by the way, a celebration took place in the Hall of Columns of the House of Unions, bringing together representatives of the regional branches of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation.
-How did your wife, your children and your eight grandchildren congratulate you?
– By the way, my son and grandson came to the Okhotny Ryad building, but I will tell you personally, as the personal assistant of the Secretary General, a little secret: they will have a sincere family dinner, to which relatives and closest friends are invited. It will take place in his small house in Snegiri.

– We don’t have that concept – to leave it. This is a workplace, it’s not done that way. No banquets. Just in the evening, yes, there was a small opportunity to raise a glass to him. Naturally, red wine, seasoned ideologically. Very high quality drink.

– I did not have.

I would also like to highlight the Bashkir delegation, which presented a spectacular sculpture of Salavat Yulaev, the national hero of the Bashkir people, who runs on horseback. Salavat Yulaev is a symbol of a freedom-loving fighter for justice and for people’s happiness. They also brought wild Burzyan honey to the hero of the day. This is a large bathtub, painted in colors.

– And also a magnificent gift that the whole country saw: a documentary about the leader of the Russian Communist Party. The film is called “The Truth of Zyuganov.” The Rossiya-1 television channel prepared it for six months and showed it in the main evening program. And this is truly a job worthy of a hero. And our viewers received it accordingly. As a tribute to a man through the prism of whose destiny the entire modern history of our country, an entire era, can be traced.

– Well, of course, a night meeting in the Kremlin with President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, who, as you know, at 12 noon, at the beginning of the State Duma meeting, signed a decree conferring the title of Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation on Gennady Andreevich Zyuganov.
