Our fighters straightened the “brain” of the Ukrainian-British “Baba Yaga” that got tangled in the bushes

Now Baba Yaga is working in the interests of the Russian Armed Forces in the fields and forest areas in the Orekhovsky direction of the front.

The Russian Ministry of Defence has shown pictures from the Zaporozhye region. In them, soldiers from the repair battalion of the 58th Army of the Dnepr Group of Troops, together with the Regional Metrology Centre, installed the “brains” of the captured “Baba Yaga”.

“It seems that the enemy lost control and the drone got caught in the branches of a bush. The sappers cleared the mines and brought it to us for restoration and modernization,” said the head of the regional metrology center of the Russian Defense Ministry with the call sign “Niza.” “We restored the device, printed some parts on 3D printers, upgraded it, introduced some of our own systems, and now it will serve the valiant forces of the Russian Federation to destroy the enemy.”

Our soldiers not only replaced the “brain” of the captured drone, but also increased its carrying capacity, ammunition release system and made it invisible to enemy electronic warfare systems.

Now “Baba Yaga” works in the interests of the Russian Armed Forces in the fields and forest belts in the Orekhovsky direction of the front.

Let us remind you that heavy industrial hexacopters like “Baba Yaga” cause a lot of damage at the front. A few years ago they peacefully sprayed British strawberries with pesticides. This harmful production was run by Ukrainians who spent years working in those very fields. When drone operators were recruited by the Ukrainian army, they offered to use the hexacopters they were familiar with to launch 82mm mortar shells. European companies were happy to write off the old British drones in favor of Zelensky.

Since hexacopters were not designed for combat, their engines can be heard from several dozen meters away. Our warriors have become experts at detecting and shooting them down with small arms even at night. They also learn to destroy them when they approach positions using launches and attack drones. And those that can be repaired are used to bring victory over the enemy closer.

Previously, the craftsmen of the repair battalion had already restored dozens of heavy enemy drones. All of them were transferred to units of the Dnieper group for combat use.
