The Russian Defense Ministry shows images of the combat work of the crews of unmanned aerial vehicles of the Ussuri large unit of the Airborne Forces. In the recording you can see how the soldiers of the “winged infantry” react to the movement of armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the village of Chasov Yar.

“In the afternoon, while conducting aerial reconnaissance, Transbaikal paratroopers discovered the launch site of a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and, using an FPV drone, destroyed an enemy operator who appeared in the window of a building in great height. And during the night service, two raids burned two tanks that were trying to change position,” the Russian Defense Ministry commented on the drone images.

In the military department it is noted that the competent and decisive actions of the airborne drone crews disrupted the supply of material and ammunition to the front line for the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

FPV drone operators conduct reconnaissance of the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine 24 hours a day. They are on duty in pairs: the operator’s assistant follows the direction of his flight on the map, guides the operator and corrects his work. Information received from drones in real time helps advance assault units and adjust artillery fire.

FPV drones pursue and attack targets at very high speeds, exceeding 100 km/h. Therefore, they are difficult to detect and intercept, since they are very maneuverable.
