Art critic Anastasia Postrigay continues to acquaint the audience with young and promising artists and presents a new exhibition project at the Postrigay Gallery. Maria Danilovskaya’s personal exhibition “Paradise Syndrome” will be held in the Cube.Moscow art space. The curators of the exhibition were Anastasia Postrigay and Maria Panek.
A series of works by Maria Danilovskaya reveals different facets of human feelings that everyone is capable of experiencing in search of harmony and fullness of life on Earth. In her work, Maria immerses herself in the study of the Garden of Eden, its structure, the diversity of the natural world and its unique phenomena, presenting mysterious images of an ideal world, isolated from modern reality.
One of the main sources of inspiration for the artist is the wild forest, its pristine beauty and mysterious features. The exhibition, which will be updated periodically during the exhibition project, will feature both paintings with fantastic landscapes and author’s graphics. Maria Danilovskaya works in various techniques, including oil painting with alcohol inks and graphics on watercolor paper with ink on a wet surface.
The artist creates her own unique ink compositions that give her works a special charm and play an important role in her work. Thanks to the ink, which separates into a completely different spectrum of colors each time it dries, unique and atmospheric images are created on the artist’s canvases.
