Caffè Principe is a legendary pastry shop in the heart of the spa town, in Via Giosuè Carducci. The interiors of the restaurant have been carefully restored. The Florentine architect Michele Bonan assisted in this project.
In the space, vintage-style furniture, chandeliers, Formica chairs and tables, wicker chairs, and cute 1950s-style wallpapers. The restaurant’s menu features light and classic snacks, fresh salads, including Caprese, sandwiches, and traditional French pastries.
Let’s remember that this is not the first time that fashion houses have opened their cafes in Florence. Gucci has already launched the Giardino 25 cocktail bar in the central Piazza della Signoria. Read more here.
