AND AGAIN – ABOUT UKRAINE
… – In this regard, we appreciate the sincere and concrete proposals of the SCO member countries for a peaceful solution to the Ukrainian crisis, which arose as a result of the absolutely unceremonious and adventurous policy of the United States and its satellites.
Russia, as we know, has never refused and is now ready to continue peace negotiations. It was Ukraine that refused negotiations, and it did so publicly, on direct orders from London and, therefore, there is no doubt, from Washington, as Ukrainian officials openly and openly say.
The Istanbul agreements – thanks to the President of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Erdogan, who participated in this work as a mediator – did not disappear, they were signed by the head of the Ukrainian negotiating delegation, that is, apparently, they were quite suitable for Ukraine.
These agreements, the Istanbul agreements, are still on the table and can be used as a basis for continuing these negotiations.
WHAT ELSE DID THE PRESIDENT SAY?
– SCO member states coordinate their actions at the international level, including at the UN, and adhere to largely similar or comparable foreign policy approaches.
– Trade, economic, investment and financial cooperation is being vigorously promoted within the SCO together with business circles.
– It is significant that against the backdrop of a recession in a number of developed economies of the world, the total GDP of the SCO states in 2023 increased by an average of 5.2 percent, industrial production increased by 4.5 percent, and inflation was only 2.4 percent. These are good indicators.
– Cooperation in the fields of energy, infrastructure, food security, high technology and innovation, digitalisation and artificial intelligence continues to deepen steadily.
– The SCO is taking the most active measures to build and optimize trade, logistics and mutual settlement chains. New and more efficient transport corridors are being formed that connect the continent from north to south and from west to east.
– And, of course, we are interested in bringing as many states as possible into the sectoral projects implemented through the SCO. The SCO Business Council, the Interbank Association and the Forum of Regional Heads are also open to association.
The participants of the Shanghai organization traditionally respect historical and cultural values and the diversity of civilizations. On this basis, contacts between people are expanded and interaction is built in the fields of science and technology, education, health and sport. There is a Youth Council, public and volunteer structures.
– That is, the SCO can share a lot in practical terms with all countries that are interested and willing to cooperate. In turn, our Organization gladly accepts any constructive contribution to its activities, to absorb all the valuable things that our partners offer.
