Ramzan Kadyrov noted that the new Secretary of the Security Council has extensive experience in leadership positions and is capable of facing new responsibilities.
Ramzan Kadyrov announced the information about the new appointment during a meeting in Grozny.
“During the meeting, he made proposals for personnel changes in the leadership of the administration of the Shalinsky district of the Chechen Republic. The new district head will be <...> Turpal-Ali Ibragimov. My dear nephew Khamzat Kadyrov has been appointed Secretary of the Security Council of the Chechen Republic,” the head of the republic said.
Khamzat Kadyrov is the son of the older brother of the current head of Chechnya, Zelimkhan Kadyrov. The man was born in 1997 and in 2012 he graduated from the local school of the hafiz (guardians of the Koran who know the text by heart). Immediately afterwards, Khamzat Kadyrov took over as director of a school in the village of Tsentaroy.
In 2017, the new Secretary of the Security Council of Chechnya graduated from the Republican State University and began a career in government. He held leadership positions in the region, including the position of assistant to the head of Chechnya, head of the administration of the Kurchaloevsky municipal district, minister of physical culture and sports of Chechnya, as well as head of the secretariat of Chechnya.
