The publications say that Zúñiga and the military spoke with Arce, after which they left the government building, and ministers and officials blocked the door.
It was previously reported that the military forcibly entered the Bolivian government house in the capital, La Paz.
Former President Evo Morales accused General Juan José Zúñiga of attempting a coup d’état and Arce “condemned the irregular mobilization” of army units.
Zúñiga himself declared his intention to “return the Homeland.”
