Over the course of several months, the Interior Ministry has received several reports from residents in four districts of the region about burglaries in their homes. The criminals broke into the premises by ripping off the plastic windows and taking money and jewellery.
Criminal investigation officers detained two suspects: a 41-year-old resident of Unechsky district and a 32-year-old man from Klintsy. Both have already been convicted of robbery.
“The defendants admitted to 11 robberies. They sold the stolen goods to pawnshops in Bryansk and the Moscow region,” the regional Interior Ministry said.
